World in Constant Cataclysm
Apocolypse (intentionally misspelled) is a fallen world where titan sized "Doom Beasts" roam the world. Each one easily able to end the world on their own. The only reason they haven't is the because of each other. Locked in a constant battle to end their fellow titans before destroying the world proper. Leaving a population struggling to survive in the behemoth's battlefield that is Apocolypse.

Doom Beasts Approach
Glinting scales or blackened metal, roving clouds or bloody chitin. The signs of an approaching Doom Beast is always being watched for. Just one passing through the area could be the reason a survivors enclave is wiped off the map. Gods forbid two should meet in battle nearby.
War Tested World
The world was created by the gods so mortal races could prove their worth. The great God War is a thing of the ancient past. But the pride of battle tested races have not faded. The survivors of Apocolypse are not willing to lay down and die in the face of oblivion.
Magic Famine
Without the gods presence, magic has become depleted across with world. Being completely absent in parts. Casters have turned to unique ways to combat the lack of magic available. Some of these ways attract undesirable attention however.
Silent Gods
Whether they be dead or just hiding from the Doom Beasts. The gods have not been heard from in centuries. Their guidance and protection being more legend then truth nowadays.
